Today I had my first coffee from a coffee shop in South Africa. It was from a place that just opened in Braamfontain called FATHER. A venue that wants to make the bean toaster its core business. A place where no food is made but I was sold the sandwich the owner was making for himself – whole rye, salami, brie and avocado. I think I might become a frequent.
They want to target making food in a few months time. Would that be ready around October for breakfasts? I wonder…
